We are delighted to announce an upcoming presentation of arte povera artists Giovanni Anselmo, Mario Merz and Giuseppe Penone, all of whom were exhibited at Konrad Fischer Galerie shortly after the term of the Italian art movement was introduced in 1967.
The works on display capture the spirit of arte povera, celebrating its influence on painting, sculpture, and drawing. Through the use of unconventional, 'poor' materials and forms inspired by nature, the works in the exhibition reflect the movement’s non-traditional and groundbreaking vision.
